First Michelin star for L’Ó Restaurant
The well-known Michelin gastronomic guide has awarded L’Ó Restaurant at Món Sant Benet its first star. The chef Jordi Llobet has achieved this high level of distinction in just four months. L’Ó Restaurant at Món Sant Benet has received its first Michelin star. This recognition by the prestigious red guide confirms the excellent cuisine developed by Jordi Llobet and his team.
L’Ó’s cuisine is based on tradition and local products, but stresses avant-garde techniques, good presentation and good service. The Sant Benet monastery site and the Alícia Foundation also provide support for the project.
Jordi Llobet and his team have been in charge of L’Ó since May 2013, taking over from L’Angle, which moved to Barcelona. Other highlights of his career are his 10 years in charge of the kitchen of the El Cingle restaurant in Vacarisses, where he and his team also achieved a Michelin star. For 5 years, until joining L’Ó as chef, he was responsible for all catering at Món Sant Benet, particularly banquets and social celebrations.
