Those present also do wine tastings, workshops and Encanyissada Felt, and listening animated stories

From the morning until well into the afternoon, Món Sant Benet brought together more than 3,000 people this 1 November holiday. The visitors enjoyed a wide variety of activities for all audiences, including stalls with local and organic products, demonstrations of trades, and workshops and musical entertainment for children, not to mention the chance to eat at Sant Benet’s delicious restaurants.

The public, who have responded very well to the special autumn programme, have also taken advantage to follow the permanent tours held at Món Sant Benet, such as the visit to the bell tower, the medieval and Catalan art nouveau tours and the discovery visit to the Alícia Foundation. One of the most successful tours was “Mysteries, puzzles and scary stories”, which will still be offered every Saturday until 24 November.

The Plaça de Sant Benet, full of stalls and passers by, buying and tasting products of different kinds, was also the venue for a tasting of wines from the DO Pla de Bages, for enjoying felt and basketry workshops and for listening and dancing to the animated stories of the Ministrers de l’Aixada. Children were able to ride round the monastery on an organised pony circuit.

The “Time of souls” cycle continues to offer special programming until 24 November with the competition “The way of the souls”, cookery workshops like “Autumn sweets” and other activities.
